Accessibility
Information about our online service
MULLER Pneus s.à r.l. is working to make its online shop and associated digital services usable independently and without barriers by as many people as possible.
Scope and legal basis
This information applies to the online service provided by MULLER Pneus s.à r.l. at www.mullerpneus.lu. This includes, in particular, the public website, product selection, the tyre and wheel selector, appointment and ordering processes, the shopping basket and the account features provided for customers.
The relevant provisions are, in particular, Article 15(2) and Annex II of the Luxembourg law of 8 March 2023 on accessibility requirements for products and services. The law transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 and has applied since 28 June 2025 to, among other things, e-commerce services.
This page provides information about the accessibility of our service under Annex II of the law. It is neither a certification nor a statement for a public sector body under Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.
Description and use of the service
The online service enables consumers, in particular, to:
- access information about tyres, wheels, services and locations
- select a vehicle or enter vehicle and tyre details
- select suitable products and services and add them to the shopping basket
- prepare and complete an appointment booking or an order
- create a customer account and use it to manage vehicles, appointments, quotations and documents.
The main processes are started through the main navigation or via “Order & appointment”. The application then guides users step by step through the required information. Required information and errors should be indicated directly next to the relevant field.
Applicable requirements
The service should provide information and functionality that are perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. The internal assessment of the website is guided by the relevant requirements of the applicable version of European standard EN 301 549, in particular the web requirements based on WCAG success criteria at levels A and AA.
Perceivable
Content should be accessible even without relying on a particular sense.
Operable
Navigation and functionality should be usable with a keyboard, among other methods.
Understandable
Content, labels and processes should be easy to understand and predictable.
Robust
The website should work with commonly used browsers and assistive technologies.
This includes text alternatives, sufficient contrast, visible keyboard focus, meaningful headings and labels, scalable content, understandable error messages and accessible identification, security and completion features.
Accessibility status
According to the current findings of our internal self-assessment, the online service is partially compliant with the applicable requirements. Key user journeys are continuously assessed and improved. A full compliance assessment of all pages, states and combinations with assistive technologies has not yet been completed.
Measures already implemented include basic semantic structures, labelled forms, keyboard access to numerous controls, visible focus indicators, responsive layouts and text alternatives for many images that convey information.
Known limitations
The ongoing internal assessment has identified the following remaining risks in particular:
- Some older selection controls, expandable elements and configuration controls may not yet be fully usable with a keyboard or screen reader.
- For dynamically loaded content, status, confirmation and error messages are not yet reliably communicated to assistive technologies in every case.
- Some images, icon buttons or embedded content may still have missing or incomplete text alternatives or accessible names.
- Complex tables, dialogues, configurators and image views may have limitations at high magnification, in narrow views or with certain assistive technologies.
- Colour contrast, focus indicators and the logical focus order on older pages are still being systematically checked and corrected.
No exemption on the grounds of a fundamental alteration or disproportionate burden is currently claimed for these limitations. They are tracked in the internal issue register and prioritised according to their impact on ordering and appointment booking.
Assessment and ongoing monitoring
- Assessment method
- Internal technical self-assessment against the applicable requirements, source code review and assessment of key user journeys.
- Information as of
- 01.10.2026
- Review frequency
- After significant changes and at least once a year.
To maintain and improve accessibility, we:
- document identified issues, including the affected feature, impact, priority and status
- reassess key purchasing, appointment booking and account features when changes are made
- implement new components using native HTML elements and accessible names wherever possible
- take user feedback into account when setting priorities
- update this information in light of new findings or significant changes.
Further official guidance on information obligations is available on the OSAPS information page.
